Once upon a time, I thought spam, chips and beans covered in sauces and seasoning was the height of cuisine. Today? My food journey couldn't be more different.

So what changed my food carnage for the better? Friends and family from around the world introduced me to different flavours, textures and cooking techniques that quickly became a passion. I started travelling, taking cookery courses, and paying attention to what was really in my food. Oh, and I became a plumber! 

Fast forward a few years, I decided to put my money where my mouth was and have a go at producing and selling a food product myself. I've travelled up and down the UK attending food festivals and I have come across some amazing artisan food made by small, independent producers. Really good food you can't buy in major supermarkets. 

These days the only olive puller I use is in the kitchen as I'm no longer a plumber. Instead you'll find me at a food show, trawling through cook books or creating in the kitchen.
